Yoga On The Lawn

Join us at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa for yoga on the lawn, with afternoon tea, this spring.
The perfect afternoon to unwind, be active and spend time with friends. Weather permitting we'll be outside enjoying the sunshine, but we have a lovely hall indoors if the temperamental British weather decides to rain!
The afternoon begins with a two-hour slow flow workshop led by yoga teacher Atim. The workshop is all about slow-flowing, grounding and rejuvenating yoga sequences, with mindful moments of relaxation ending with a guided meditation. Find your inner strength, confidence and peace.
A variation of poses will be given for all abilities so take the class at your speed. The benefits of yoga are great for both mind and body with improvements to balance, strength and flexibility and also your mental well-being. Take home a free handout to help inspire you to practise more yoga.Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea which includes;
• Selection of freshly made finger sandwiches with traditional fillings
• Scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream
• Farmhouse fruit cake
• Choice of teas, herbal infusions or Prestigioso speciality coffee

Meet the Teacher - Atim embraces yoga as a great way to de-stress and teaches its benefits of promoting a calm, focused mind and a healthy body. Slow flowing sequences with mindful breathing influence her style of yoga, which helps to improve posture as well as strengthen the back and core. Atim will be accompanied by yoga teacher Jenny.
From beginners to advanced yogis, everyone is welcome. We will have some yoga mats, but please bring your own if you have one, as well as a towel or blanket to use as a cushion during the relaxation time.
